Hello, hello, here we are again sitting in our booth. We have not had any jury interviews today, and none yesterday. However we had six on the first interview day (Sunday), three from the Jury and three from the Youth Jury. We think they went wery well. Besides the competition we have spent our time here seeing the sites and the every evening there is a disco!

Tonight we will go on a boat trip on Moscow River and after that there is of course a disco :o) This trip has been an amazing experience and we can hardly believe that it will be over tomorrow - Iceland in two days, what ever shall we do?

Lily, Una and Valdis

Now we are reporting live from our booth in the European Union Contest for Young Scientists! We arrived on Friday, finally all together: Lily, Una, Valdis, Bjork the national organizer and Brynja our teacher. Unfortunately, the luggage of Una, Valdis and Bjork did not arrive at the same time! So they spent the first two days without all their clothes while the bags were enjoying a trip to Vienna. On Friday night we were mainly waiting in the hotel lobby until we were assigned a room. Yesterday we took a bus tour around Moscow, started assembling our booth and went to a nightclub with the other participants where we saw a crocodile! That's not something you see everyday!

I just watched Ísland i bítið, on my computer, and I have to say that I'm very proud of Una and Valdís, as well as the project. They did a great job this morning and I have no doubt that they did a good job as well with the newspapers interviews. I'm looking forward to reading them. I wish I could be there with them. But instead I'm here in France doing my au pair job. Which is great to, the two little guys I'm looking after every second (uff where does this energy come from?!) are getting infant massage every now and then, in case you were wondering :) Well I would be lying if I would say that I'm not excited for the day after to morrow. And of course the day after that. The day after tomorrow I will fly from Nice to Copenhagen. I'm staying there for one night and then I fly to Oslo on friday morning. There will I finally meet the two tv-stars and Björk and Brynja. And we will fly together from Oslo to Moscow. Ullala I can feel the butterflies allready!

Today Una and Valdís begun their journey to Moscow. We drove to Reykjavík and went straight to Cintamani who have been kind to sponsor us by giving us sweaters to wear in Russia. Tomorrow morning we will be guests in a morning show, Ísland í bítið, and after that we have two newspaper interviews, Fréttablaðið and Morgunblaðið. We fly to Oslo at 7:35 Friday morning where we will meet Lilý and Brynja. Then we will all travel together to Moscow.

We won! Our project received the acknowledgement of the jury and we are on our way to Russia :o) This day has been amazing, we certainly got our 15 minutes of fame ? two television interviews, one radio interview and one newspaper interview :o) We are still smiling because of our joy of victory and can hardly believe that it happened. We want to thank everyone who has helped us with our project, especially Brynja, our teacher, who has showed us terrific support!
